Lemon Chocolate Chip Biscotti

Ingredients-
1 3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp lemon juice (I used fresh squeezed lemon juice)
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
4 tbs butter
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
roughly 2 cups powdered sugar

Directions-
Mix flour sugar and baking powder together. Add in the butter and salt. I used my electric mixture, add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Dough will be a little sticky. Place a rubber making mat On cookie sheet. Divide dough into two and form into two logs and place On baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 min. Let them cool for about 10 min and cut into biscotti shapes at a slant. Lay On side and bake at 350 again for about 10 min or until golden brown and crispy. To make the lemon glaze to dip the biscotti in, I used roughly 2 cups powdered sugar, and about 1/4 cup lemon juice. Mix them together, put the consistency to your liking.. I just played around until it was thick enough. I dipped half biscotti into icing and let set. Let cool and enjoy with some coffee, these are lemony and chocolaty!
